Weekend in pictures
Every weekend I spend a lot of time in the community, talking to people and learning about their work to make Seattle a better place. I’d like to share some of what I saw last weekend with you.
We began the day at SeaMar’s 10th annual Latina Health Fair, a community-based culturally and linguistically appropriate event focused on the Latina population in King County
Next we were off to an open house at Fire Station 13 in Beacon Hill
We finished up at our Latino Community Forum, an opportunity for the Latino community to connect with the mayor and department staff

Its really great to see how majors can go out into the community and be apart of it. This is how people better improve our environment. I hope the Major is talking about Eco friendly community aspects too.

Nice photo op. Now let’s concentrate on what’s really important. The quality of life in Seattle. How?
Time to crack down on gangs. You care more about bicyclists than you do about every other citizen of this city.
Shame on you.
