Volunteer with the Youth and Families Initiative!
Thank you for your interest in volunteering on the Youth and Families Initiative! When you’re ready, you can sign up to volunteer using the form at the bottom of the page…and please share this link with anyone you think would be interested in helping out!
The five venues and dates for the large group workshops are listed below (note that volunteers will need to be there from 6:00 to 9:00); click on any location to see it on a map along with the others:
February 22 – Rainier Community Center 6:00-9:00 p.m.
March 1 – Northgate Elementary School 6:00-9:00 p.m.
March 8 – Van Asselt Elementary School 6:00-9:00 p.m.
March 15 – Denny Middle School 6:00-9:00 p.m.
March 22 – Garfield Community Center 6:00-9:00 p.m.

I am always willing to help in whatever ways I can – I am really excited to see this issue (our young people) start to become addressed so quickly! I’d also like to see an active investigation of the district and some oversight and accountability – but for now – yeah!
