Planning for the future of our parks
Seattle Parks and Recreation is planning for the future of our park system, and they want to hear from you. I am very, very concerned about the Seattle School District’s plans to potentially build a new elementary school on what is now Thornton Creek ball fields/green space in Wedgwood. Those fields have been used by generations of children & families in this neighborhood for tee ball, baseball, soccer and family gatherings. If we sacrifice that well used green space now it will NEVER be replaced!

I am very concerned that Thornton Creek playfield is in a gap for green space coverage. Please help Wedgwood stay green and livable!!!
