I attended the West Precinct event last night and am optimistic that it will have beneficial results for helping Seattle address crime. I would ask, however, that you reconsider having the roving videorecording of these events. No one sought our consent for the footage. Cooperating to inform police can be a dangerous choice. Please don’t let your need for publicity get in the way of good attendance at public safety events.
